So what does this mean?

This half day course will teach your team the regulations in an easily understandable way, where questions can be asked and advice freely given to help your team determine if the space is actually deemed as “work at height” under the regulations.

Whether or not it is truly working at height, a suitable risk assessment and some control measures to protect those around you can be a good idea anyway.

For example, signage to inform people, a record where people are working and tethers prevent dropped tools – even on safe working platforms, items drop over barriers!

Examples of Work at Height Awareness training needs:

Working At Height Awareness

I think I know what working at height is – but I’m not sure…

Neither is my boss….

Do stairs count? What about scaffolds, internal ladders on to roofs

If I don’t know, how do I avoid it?

Working At Height Awareness

As a construction manager I need to go up on to the scaffolding or platform to talk about or review the project

I’m told it’s a safe working platform…., but how do I know?

How do I keep myself safe whilst I’m up there?

Working At Height Awareness

As the production manager, myself and my team may need to visit all parts all parts of the site, throughout the production process…

If a process changes or some material needs handling differently, which then causes the team to work differently, believing they are helping the production process…

Could the team unknowingly be moving into places that are deemed at height?
